Uganda’s Prime Minister Leads High-Level Delegation to Opening Ceremony of China Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE) 12th - 15th June, 2025

Changsha, Hunnan Province, China – 12th June 2025, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, Prime Minister of Uganda, today led a distinguished Ugandan delegation to the CAETE 2025 Opening Ceremony, where Uganda is proudly exhibiting its rich cultural heritage, agricultural innovations, and tourism potential.

The Chinese visiting delegation to Uganda marked the launch of the Coffee Awareness Tour, slated for 12th–21st May 2025.

They were warmly received by Uganda’s Ambassador to Beijing-China, H.E. Oliver Wonekha at Entebbe International Airport.

The team will explore Uganda’s rich coffee heritage through visits to various coffee-growing farms across the country, promoting investment in Uganda’s coffee sector.
