About the Embassy
The Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Beijing represents the country in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The representation is executed in the Embassy in Beijing and a Consulate located in Guangzhou in Guangdong Province. The main function of Uganda’s mission in China is to promote and protect Uganda’s overall interests in the countries of accreditation.
Diplomatic relations between China and Uganda were established on the 18th October 1962.
The current Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) is H.E Oliver Wonekha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
