The Ugandan Ambassador to China, H.E Oliver Wonekha embarked on a significant visit to Hunan, China, to foster closer relationships and engage in a fruitful meeting with Ms. Fang Huang, the Chairperson of Hunan Women’s Federation. The visit culminated in an extraordinary gesture of goodwill, as H.E Oliver Wonekha received a generous donation of 4000 packets of sanitary pads from Ansus Angel Health Management Group Co Ltd. 

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the bilateral ties between Uganda and China, particularly in the areas of women empowerment and healthcare. The meeting with the Hunan Women’s Federation provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss challenges faced by women, and explore potential avenues for collaboration and support.

During the meeting, H.E Oliver Wonekha expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended by the Hunan Women’s Federation. She highlighted the importance of empowering women and addressing menstrual hygiene challenges faced by girls and women, both in Uganda and China. The Ambassador emphasized that such initiatives contribute to the overall advancement of societies and the well-being of women.

H.E Oliver Wonekha expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Ansus Angel manufacturing group Co. ltd for their benevolence and commitment to making a positive impact. She emphasized that this donation will not only alleviate the challenges faced by many women but also contribute to their overall health, education, and empowerment.

During the meeting, Chairperson Ms. Fang Huang expressed her gratitude to the Ugandan Ambassador and Ansus for their commitment to women's health. She highlighted the importance of addressing menstrual hygiene challenges and emphasized the positive impact the donation of sanitary pads will have on underprivileged women in Uganda. 
During the handover ceremony, Huang, CEO of Ansus Angel Manufacturing Co, expressed his honor in donating 4000 packets of sanitary pads to the Ugandan Ambassador. He emphasized Ansus' commitment to women's health and empowerment.
