H.E. Jessica Alupo Holds Bilateral Talks with Chinese Vice President.

On the morning of September 2nd, 2024, the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. Jessica Alupo, held a productive bilateral meeting with H.E. Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, at the prestigious Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing. The discussions focused on key areas of mutual interest, including industrialization, infrastructure development, and digitization, reflecting the ongoing commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between Uganda and China.

   

During the meeting, H.E. Alupo expressed her deep appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by the government and the people of China. The bilateral engagement was attended by high-ranking officials from both nations, including Uganda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Gen. Jeje Odongo Abubakhar, and Uganda's Ambassador to China, Amb. Oliver Wonekha, alongside senior Chinese officials.

This meeting marks another step forward in the collaborative efforts between Uganda and China, underscoring the shared vision for sustainable development and the enhancement of bilateral relations across multiple sectors.
