The Embassy of Uganda in Beijing proudly hosted a Tourism and Coffee Promotion Event at the Badaling Great Wall 

On 12th October 2025, as part of the celebrations marking Uganda’s 63rd Independence Anniversary, the Embassy of Uganda in Beijing proudly hosted a Tourism and Coffee Promotion Event at the Badaling Great Wall  one of China’s most iconic landmarks.

Led by H.E. Oliver Wonekha, Ambassador of Uganda to China, and joined by H.E. Judyth Nsababera Muthoni, Consul General of the Uganda Consulate in Guangzhou, the event highlighted the beauty, warmth, and hospitality of the Pearl of Africa.

The Embassy set up a vibrant booth serving authentic Ugandan coffee, showcasing unique Ugandan products, and featuring captivating traditional dance performances by a Ugandan cultural troupe, offering guests a true taste of Uganda’s rich heritage and creativity.

The day concluded successfully, leaving guests and visitors inspired by Uganda’s charm, cultural pride, and world-class coffee.
